Questions:

1. What are some of your goals for the upcoming year?

My main goal is to stay healthy and make it through another season of running, with hopes of running well on the NCAA scene(repeating as National Champion, Shooting for the American record indoors @800m and Maybe the Collegiate 1000m record. And of course the Trials I plan to be there if healthy and hoping to run well enough to make the team.

2. What are some of your plans for the upcoming year to reach those goals?

To stay focused on the task at hand and not to get wrapped up in what everyone else is doing. Pretty much just sticking to the same routine as before and not really changing anything.

3. What is your favorite workout(s)?

If I told you this then my competitor may find out my secrets.  But if I have to answer it is working and perfecting my kick and we will leave it at that.

4. What factors do you attribute to your success?

First my faith in the Lord, second my faith in myself and my coaching staff, third my dedication and motivation to be one of the great ones.

5. What is your training philosophy?

My training philosophy is to just have fun and that is what I'm doing at this point in my career. When I get to a point when it is not fun then I will step aside and retire.

6. Do you have any advice that may help other runners reach their potential?

If your heart is really set on being your best in the sport of track and field then don't let anyone tell you that you can not do what you think you can do (i.e. many told me that I can't win by running from the back of a pack, well 1:45.88 seconds later I proved them wrong).
